Problem:
OFFICE XP: Program Immediately Quits on Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000

Are you experiencing problems with various Office XP programs quitting almost immediately
after starting them on a PC running Windows 2000? Microsoft is aware of the problem and
authored an  article explaining the problem and offering a solution.

Be aware that the fix involves editing the registry. Always back up the registry before
