Here's how to place a logo or picture and a button called "Support Information" on the System Properties Box...

systemlogo.jpg (33677 bytes) 1. To place the picture or logo, first create a BMP image and name it oemlogo.bmp. Make sure you place it in the Windows/System folder. The picture must not be any larger then 180 X 114 pixels. MS Paint is a good program to resize (shrink) your images.

2. To create a button called "Support Information" first create a text file and call it oeminfo.ini. Place it also in the Windows/System folder. The following information MUST be inserted in the oeminfo.ini file exactly as follows:

   [general]
   Manufacturer=
   Model=

   [Support Information]
   Line1=""
   Line2=""
   Line3=""
   Line4=""
   Line5=""
   Line6=""
   Line7=""
   Line8=""
   Line9=""

Information placed after "Manufacturer" and "Model" will appear on the face of the System Properties box.

Information you type under [Support Information] will appear under the button called "Support Information." The button itself will magically appear when you type in the above information.

That's it! Experiment with text after "Manufacturer" and "Model" as well as after each "line" number.
This is a great place to put a company logo, picture of the "Employee of the Month," your favorite pet, child or enchilada dish! You could even put useful information about how to contact you via e-mail, snail-mail, etc.
