Toggle Caps
Do you ever need to toggle text in Word between ALL CAPS, no caps, or Caps On The
Start Of Each Word??
Here's the trick: Highlight the offending text and then press <shift> and
<F3> repeatedly. Yeah!

Changing Font Size Shortcut
To decrease font size...
Highlight your chosen text, then press Ctrl + ]
To increase font size...
Highlight your chosen text, then press Ctrl + [
Note: keystrokes are represented with <key> symbols.
Ex: the key marked Ctrl is represented by <ctrl>, OK?

Word Startup Switches
Note: MS Word can be started in an other-than-usual way by editing the command which is activated by the Word shortcut on the Programs Menu. Here's how:
| 1. Right-click on the desktop and select: New Shortcut | ||
| 2. The Create New Shortcut Wizard will ask you for a command line, type | c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\winword.exe /switch {where /switch stands in for the switches listed below.} | |
| 3. Common Word switches: | /a | Stops Word from running automatic macros |
| /n | Words starts normally but doesn't load the usual "Document1" | |
| /mFile1 | Word starts and loads the last document opened | |
Example: c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\winword.exe /mFile1 |

| 4. If you'd like Word to start a specific document each time Word starts, create a New Shortcut and add this after a space to the command line: | c:\My Documents\documentname.doc | |

Note:
Always remember to add a <space> between |
