Print Screen Page
JohnKalpus.com

At some time everyone of us has wanted to capture the image of our entire desktop, or just an image of the current window. Right? Windows has a built-in capture button and it's called the "Print Screen Button" on your keyboard!

To "capture" a a picture of what's on your monitor simply press the Print Screen button once. You've just copied that image to the Windows clipboard. Then simply "paste" that image wherever you'd like, that is, in any program which allows pasting (and almost all do).

Example 1. Pressing the Print Screen button...

Example 2. Holding the Alt key down while pressing the Pring Screen Key...

If you want to capture only the current highlighted window for pasting, simply hold the Alt key down while pressing the Print Screen key. That's it!
